MEET THE FILMMAKERS

JULIAN BARAHONA RHI is a filmmaker born and raised in Los Angeles. While now studying at USC’s Film & TV Production Program, Julian has an invested interest in creating work that acknowledges process as much as commercial work appreciates outcome.

Currently Julian is working in collaboration with Cheyenne Terborg — an ongoing collaborative relationship — to create a film exploring the medicinal distribution of entheogens through a work that blurs the line between narrative and documentary filmmaking.

CHEYENNE TERBORG is a writer, filmmaker, and LA native. She is currently pursuing a degree at USC’s Film and Media Studies Program, where she has been developing and creating several projects both in the realm of narrative and experimental work — as well as that which crosses between the two.

Currently working with Julian Barahona Rhi to create a docu-fiction that blurs the line between reality and fiction, Cheyenne is utilizing her experience in the realm of both production and academia to create a work that strives to be part of the larger project of decolonizing the imagery and misconceptions surrounding psychedelic substances.
